Robert “Bobby” Kukilakila Beck, 72, of Naalehu died April 21 at home. Born in Hilo, he was a retired plumber, veteran of Hawaii Army National Guard and U.S. Navy Seabees and member of HI-LO Golf Club and Plumbers and Fitters Union. Visitation 8-10 a.m. Saturday (May 20) at Naalehu Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. Aloha attire; flowers and lei welcome. Burial at Naalehu Community Cemetery. Tsuruko Daimaru, 91, of Hilo died April 27 at Hale Anuenue Restorative Care Center. Born in Papaikou, she was a retired cashier for KTA Super Stores and member of Taishoji Soto Mission and Piihonua Kumiai. Services held. No flowers or koden (monetary gifts). Milton Hisashi Morikami, 91, of Hilo died May 9 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Kainaliu, he was a retired U.S. Army sergeant first class and veteran of World War II and the Korean and Vietnam wars, retired postal clerk and member of Christ Lutheran Church, National Association of Retired Federal Employees 1563, Big Island Retired Military Association, American Legion Post 16, Veterans of Foreign Wars and Disabled American Veterans Chapter 9. Born in Keauhou, he was a macadamia nut farmer, owner of the former Kona Poi Factory, cook at the former Kona Hilton Hotel and member of Hawaii Farm Bureau, Life Water Church and a protector of agricultural lands.
