    Velma Saeko Langsi, 70, of Kapolei, Oahu, died June 23 in Kapolei. She was born in Hilo. Visitation 5-6 p.m. Saturday at Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary on Oahu. Services from 6-7 p.m. Scattering of ashes at a later date.Survived by husband, Randall J. Langsi Sr.; sons, Randall (Lynnette) J. Langsi Jr. and Mitchell Langsi, both of Honolulu; daughters, Tammy Langsi and Lynnette (William) Langsi-Terry, both of Honolulu; brother, Isaac (Ruth) Takayama of Hilo; sisters, Promise (Wendell) Grace and Louise Kozuk, both of Hilo; grandchildren, Brinton Kaahanui, Lauren Langsi, Brooke Langsi, Branden Langsi, Zechariah Langsi-Terry, Aaron Langsi-Terry, Chasen Chong and Raylene Langsi, all of Honolulu.

    Sumie Wada Kon, 88, of Hilo died July 25 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Hana, Maui, she was a retired teacher at McKinley High School on Oahu. Private services to be held followed with burial at Homelani Memorial Park Veterans Cemetery No. 2. Survived by son, Robert Kon of Hilo; daughter, Barbara Kon of Hilo; brother, Mamoru (Chic) Wada; one grandchild, and numerous nieces and nephews. Arrangements by Borthwick Hawaii Funeral Home.

    Charlene Boteilho George, 65, of Waimea died July 9 at Hale Ho'ola Hamakua. Born in Makawao, Maui, she was a registered nurse for Queens Hospital. Memorial service to be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Mana Christian Ohana Church in Kamuela. Survived by husband, Nolan B. George of Waimea, Hawaii; sons, Makana George of Makawao, Maui, and Beaumont (Lisa) George of Oahu; daughters, Jennfer Fernandez George and Pohaikealoha of Oahu, and Caroline Geroge of Kamuela; grandsons, Sean George of Oahu, Roman George and Willie Cleghorn of Maui; sister, Jacelyne (Carl) Schwarm of San Diego; and brothers, Elroy Boteilho of Colorado, Leland Boteilho and Beau Boteilho of Makawao, Maui. Visitation from 5-9 p.m.; Wake service at 7 p.m. Friends may call Thursday at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Visitation from 8-10 a.m. Mass at 10 a.m. Casual attire. Burial at Homelani Memorial Park (Ilima Section).
